Relax Into The “Heart Tub”
Introduction
It's been a while since I've written to you all, and I've missed connecting through our community blog. Life has a way of carrying us into new rhythms and experiences, sometimes pulling us away from certain practices while deepening us in others. I wanted to take a moment to reconnect and share what's been unfolding in our world these past few months.
1. The Joy of Creating Together
Christapher and I have been immersed in a special project that has brought us tremendous fulfillment. Working side by side, we've discovered new dimensions of partnership and creativity. There's something particularly sweet about building something meaningful with someone you love – the shared vision, the complementary strengths, the moments of breakthrough that you get to celebrate together.
Throughout this process, we've been reflecting deeply on the Ren Xue practices, particularly on a state called "Jingshen" – the beautiful unification of consciousness, spiritual heart, and true self. We're continually realizing that being in this state is how we create the best heartspace for living and working together. It's like easing into a warm hot tub or heart tub, infused with love, trust, openness, and gratitude, where our consciousness relaxes into the heart and we trust the fundamental forces of the universe.
We're feeling deeply grateful for this collaboration, which has reminded us of the power that emerges when we combine our unique gifts in service of something greater than ourselves. While we're not quite ready to reveal all the details, we're excited to share more about this project soon. What I can say is that it aligns beautifully with our mission of cultivating more love, connection, and trust in the world.
2. Letting Go to Let Life In
Part of our journey these past months has involved releasing what no longer serves us. We've been working through disappointments, regrets, and a variety of interpersonal challenges that naturally arise in life and work. It hasn't always been easy, but we've discovered again and again that what initially feels like an obstacle or disappointment often reveals itself as the best possible outcome when viewed through the lens of time and heart-wisdom.
These experiences have reinforced a profound truth: it's much easier to recognize and trust in the "best possible outcome" when we allow our hearts to lead us rather than our minds, identities, attachments, or ambitions. The mind tends to cling to specific outcomes or paths, while the heart remains open to the mystery and wisdom of life unfolding in unexpected ways.
This process of letting go creates space for new growth – much like how clearing underbrush allows new life to flourish. As we've shed old patterns and expectations, we've discovered fresh energy and clarity about what truly matters in our work and relationships.
3. Completion and Celebration
Our Power of the Heart group is coming to completion, and what a journey it has been! Witnessing the transformations within this community has been nothing short of magical. Participants have courageously opened their hearts, deepened their connections with themselves and others, and embraced vulnerability as a pathway to authentic living.
I'm reminded of how sacred it is to hold space for others' growth and how much we all learn from each other when we gather with intention. The ripples of this work extend far beyond our circle, touching families, workplaces, and communities in ways we may never fully know.
4. Ren Xue: Deepening Our Practice
Teaching Ren Xue and Yuan Qigong continues to be a cornerstone of our work. These profound practices offer exactly what so many need in these complex times – tools for calming the mind, opening the heart, nourishing the body, and connecting with our true nature.
I'm consistently moved by how participants discover new possibilities for their lives through these practices. Whether it's finding relief from long-standing health challenges, accessing greater inner peace, or experiencing more harmony in relationships, the transformations affirm why we're so dedicated to sharing this wisdom.
5. Spring Retreat
As nature prepares for its annual awakening, we too are planning a special opportunity for renewal. Our Spring Yuan Qigong Retreat is taking shape, and we're designing it to be a sanctuary of rejuvenation, deepening practice, and heart-centered community.
This retreat will offer a perfect balance of structured learning, guided practice, meaningful connection, relaxation and creative expression. Whether you're new to our community or have been with us for years, this gathering will meet you exactly where you are and support your next steps toward wholeness.
Mark your calendars for May 24-25 and stay tuned for registration details coming very soon.
6. Slowing Down to Reconnect
Our full schedule these past months hasn't allowed much time for blogging, emails, or social media posts. While we've been present with those directly in our programs and sessions, we've missed this wider circle of connection.
One of the most profound lessons from our work with Jingshen is the importance of slowing down. The constant pressure to be productive and the false self's drive to achieve more can pull us away from that sacred state of heart-consciousness unification. We've been learning to challenge the separation between "sacred time" (like meditation) and "profane time" (like work), instead carrying that heart-centered awareness into everything we do.
As we move forward, we're dedicated to bringing more pauses, more presence, and more gratitude into our daily rhythm – rebuilding our Qi and creating a life foundation that sustains rather than drains.
Final Words
In the coming days we'll be announcing details and registration for our Spring retreat, new dates for Introduction to Ren Xue workshops, and more information on the project Christapher and I have been developing.
Until then, we invite you to stay connected with us through checking our website for the latest events, following us on social media for occasional inspiration, or reaching out directly if there are specific ways we can support you.
With gratitude for your presence in our community and your dedication to your own path of heart.
P.S. How has your journey been these past few months? We'd love to hear from you. Drop us to share what's been alive for you lately.
